From Our House to Yours

Holiday Greetings to you!  We hope that you and yours are well and enjoying another season of celebrating Christ’s birth
This fall was extremely busy for me, Laura. I have been grinding away at the books and typing quite a bit. (I didn’t know my hands could be so sore from typing!) I am glad that this semester is finished.
I was able to get to know a few of my classmates and professors a bit better.  I think a few seeds have been scattered in their hearts.  Thank you for praying about that. This spring, I am looking forward to Student Teaching at Harold McCormick Elementary School here in Elizabethton, TN.  I had been apprehensive, but now I am looking forward to it.
Steve has been busy teaching his students how to fly a Cessna Skyhawk. They have all prepared and are ready to take check rides for their private pilot certification.  However, the weather has been holding back the flights.  Pray that the weather would be good so that they can finish before Christmas.  Next semester, Steve will be instructing advanced students how to fly using only instruments and to earn their commercial pilot certification.

Future plans include Laura graduating on May 1st, Steve finishing his job at Moody on June 30th, and driving to MAF for non-tech candidacy in July.  MAF non-tech is where we will find out about the places that MAF serves.  Then, they and we will make the final decision for us to join MAF.  After that, we will receive our country assignment.  Right now we are open to anywhere we are needed.

Thank you for your prayers!
