Prayer Requests and Praises (updated August 2008)

• Pray for our niece Hannah as she battles cancer. It's hard for us to be away from family during this time.
  
• Pray for a healthy pregnancy.
  
• Pray for us as we make plans for our upcoming furlough.
  
• Praise God for wisdom, discernment, and blessings beyond measure.
• Pray for endurance, patience, and peace as we will move again when we do find a house.
  
• Pray for wisdom, love, and consistency for us as we train up Julia.
• Pray for us as we have opportunities to reach out to people around us.
• Pray that we won't become discouraged. There are many things here that could discourage us like continued language frustrations, constant noise, moving over and over again, a culture we don't understand, being unsettled for 3 more mos., etc. We are sure that we are where we are supposed to be here, so please pray for our perseverence.
• Pray for us to have joy in the journey and to trust the Lord fully.
• Pray that we will be healthy and have the energy we need to serve others. We are both dealing with some minor health issues.
  
• Please pray for us as we build more friendships in Palangkaraya. We would like to have a couple of very close Indonesian friends.
• Praise God because it looks like we finally have a house lined up.
